A deep, rounded form and softly raised base give this papier-mâché bowl a grounded, sculptural character. Its dark teal surface is deliberately distressed, allowing the lighter underlayer to appear through in irregular patches and creating the look of a time-worn vessel.

The broad opening and gently tapered lower half make it suitable for gathering lightweight decorative contents such as dried botanicals, fabric accessories, potpourri, wrapped treats or small collected objects. It can also be displayed empty, where the aged finish and substantial silhouette become the main focus.

Shaped and finished by hand, the bowl carries visible surface texture, tonal variation and slight irregularities around the rim and body. These details are integral to its handcrafted nature and ensure that each piece has an individual appearance.
