Broad, open and softly curved, this large papier-mâché bowl is defined by the vertical ridges that run around its exterior. The fluted surface gives the form a tactile, almost shell-like quality, while the hand-applied colour moves from warm coral near the rim into softer pale green tones towards the base.

Its generous proportions make it an effective decorative centrepiece for a coffee table, console or sideboard.
