Hand Painted Papier-Mâché Double Handled Urn

A compact, rounded vessel with two curved side handles, this papier-mâché urn draws on the proportions of traditional storage pots while keeping the finish light and decorative. A crosshatched band circles the shoulder, balanced by simple zigzag markings across the body and a subtly raised foot beneath.

Available in two sizes, the urns can be displayed individually or paired together to create variation in height and scale. Their warm earthy colour and restrained hand-drawn patterning make them easy to place in both eclectic and more neutral interiors.

The open top can hold dried seed heads, artificial stems or other lightweight decorative arrangements, though the piece is equally effective left empty as a small sculptural object. Use it on a shelf, sideboard, console or within a grouped display of handcrafted vessels.

Each urn is shaped and painted by hand, so differences in proportion, handle shape, linework and surface texture are to be expected. These variations give the two sizes a related character without making them look mechanically identical.
